Annual Meeting
An Integrative Sciences Meeting will be held annually to promote core services, announce educational and grant opportunities, and celebrate the diverse range of outstanding musculoskeletal research being conducted at the University of Michigan. A Poster Session highlighting the research of junior faculty, trainees and staff will be organized by Dr. Franceschi and travel awards will be given to the top three posters.

Past Meetings:
The Seventh Annual Musculoskeletal Heath Symposium was held May 11, 2023, as an in-person and virtual meeting. The keynote address was given by Eric Orwoll, MD (Professor of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Clinical Nutrition, School of Medicine; Oregon Health & Science University).
The Sixth Annual Musculoskeletal Heath Symposium was held May 17, 2027, as an in-person and virtual meeting. The keynote address was given by Stephen Parker, PhD (Comp Medicine & Bioinformatics, University of Michigan) and Kayvan Najarian, PhD (BioInterfaces Institute, University of Michigan).
The Fifth Annual Musculoskeletal Heath Symposium was held May 19, 2021, as a virtual meeting. The keynote address was given by Dr. Deneen M. Wellik, Ph.D. (Chair and Professor, Cell & Regenerative Biology, University of Wisconsin), "Hox gene regulation of adult skeletal homeostasis and repair".
The Fourth Annual Musculoskeletal Health Symposium planned for April, 2020, was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Third Annual Musculoskeletal Health Symposium was held April 29, 2019. The keynote address was given by Dr. Charlotte A. Peterson, Ph.D. (Joseph Hamburg Endowed Professor, Director of the Center for Muscle Biology, College of Health Sciences, University of Kentucky), "Evolving roles for satellite cells in skeletal muscle adaptation and aging".
The Second Annual Musculoskeletal Health Symposium was held April 6, 2018. The keynote address was given by Dr. Martha Murray, M.D. (Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery, Harvard Medical School), "Bridge-enhanced ACL repair (BEAR): From concept to clinical trial".
The First Annual Musculoskeletal Health Symposium was held May 8, 2017, "A celebration of musculoskeletal health programs at the University of Michigan". The keynote speaker was Dr. Steven A. Goldstein, Ph.D..
