Membership
The criteria for membership in the MiMHC includes having a Faculty or Instructor appointment at UM or an affiliated institution, and a musculoskeletal research program within the NIAMS mission. Membership is also open to investigators with a research focus that is peripheral to the musculoskeletal system but that offers technologies, scientific perspectives, methodologies, or resources that would benefit musculoskeletal research. Approval of membership will be made by the Center Director or Associate Directors.
Privileges of membership include access to the services and expertise provided through the Resource Cores and the ability to compete for pilot grant awards.
Responsibilities of membership include:
participating in seminars and special programs (e.g., MSK monthly seminar, Annual Meeting)
submitting a yearly evaluation of core services to improve core effectiveness, efficiency, and impact
notifying the MiMHC when a paper or grant was submitted/funded resulting from services or programs supported by the MiMHC.
use the following in manuscripts that utilized core services:
